Gadchiroli....Udit Utsav II, the Annual Day of Lloyds Raj Vidya Niketan (LRVN), was celebrated with great enthusiasm and cultural splendour, marking a significant milestone in the school’s journey of growth, excellence and community impact. The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the esteemed dignitaries - Mr B. Prabhakaran, Managing Director - LMEL and Chairman - LRVN; Ms Kirthy Reddy, Director - LIF; and other honoured guests. The dignitaries were formally received by Mrs Sunita Mehta, Project Director -CSR; Mr Nitin Choudhary, CEO - LRVN; and Mrs Archana Joshi, Principal - LRVN. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp marked the auspicious beginning of the event, symbolising the triumph of knowledge over ignorance. This was followed by a graceful Ganesh Vandana, invoking divine blessings for wisdom and prosperity. The school choir then captivated the audience with a soulful classical rendition in Raag Yaman, earning wide appreciation for its discipline and musical finesse. In her address, the Principal, Mrs Archana Joshi, highlighted the school’s notable achievements during the year, with special emphasis on students’ accomplishments in sports. She proudly announced LRVN’s recognition as the Best Emerging School in Maharashtra by Mimamsa, a moment that drew appreciation from the dignitaries and audience alike and reaffirmed the school’s commitment to holistic education. The student-led School Report that followed provided a comprehensive overview of the academic and co-curricular initiatives undertaken during the year. Students confidently presented details of classroom innovations, capacity-building workshops, enrichment programmes and educational excursions, reflecting the vibrant learning culture and all-round development fostered at LRVN. The cultural highlight of the evening was the thematic presentation Bharat Ek Khoj, a meticulously curated cultural extravaganza portraying India’s civilisational journey—from the wisdom of the great sage Patanjali to the nation’s contemporary achievements, including space exploration. The performances were widely applauded for their conceptual depth, choreography, narrative flow and the discipline and precision displayed by the students. The Prize Distribution ceremony recognised excellence across domains. Students who represented the school at the District, Divisional and State levels were felicitated by Ms Kirthy Reddy and the dignitaries, acknowledging their perseverance and achievement. The prestigious Student of the Year awards - Junior and Senior - were presented by Mr B. Prabhakaran, celebrating all-round excellence and leadership. In his inspiring address, Mr B. Prabhakaran reflected on the phenomenal transformation of the region, noting how an area once marked by unrest and loss has, within five years, emerged as a centre of hope, growth and opportunity. He lauded the exemplary discipline, confidence and perfection displayed by the students and expressed appreciation for the dedication of the LRVN team. He commended the leadership of Ms Kirthy Reddy and the committed guidance and mentorship of Mrs Sunita Mehta and Mrs Archana Joshi, acknowledging their role in shaping the institution. Addressing the students with warmth and affection, Mr Prabhakaran encouraged them to dream big and aspire fearlessly, expressing his bond with the 1,000 children of LRVN as a guiding father figure. He assured them of his unwavering support, promising to walk alongside them at every step of their educational journey. and shared his heartfelt wish that God grant him more than 24 hours in a day to continue working for the upliftment of all those under his mentorship. Udit Utsav II concluded on a high note as a celebration of culture, achievement and national pride, earning widespread appreciation from dignitaries, parents and guests and reinforcing LRVN’s vision of nurturing confident and responsible citizens.
